QIANLONG (1736-95)
The compressed body carved in shallow relief with taotie masks below a waisted neck, supported on a short foot and flanked by a pair of intricate mythical beast loop handles suspending loose rings, the pierced high domed cover carved with lotus below lappets and a surmounted dragon finial, the stone of a dark green tone with some darker inclusions
