with carved hull finished in black and varnish, simple carved and painted superstructure and two masts, mounted on builder's inscribed board -- 56in. (142cm.) wide.

Lot Essay

The steel screw steamer Culmore was built by J. Jones & Co. at Liverpool in 1890. Engined by her builders, she was registered at 650 tons gross (365 net) and measured 182 feet in length with a 27 foot beam.
