The collection has been assembled during the collectors' many travels and is marked by works with a high powered visual punch, regardless of their maker or country of origin. Although the majority of their works were acquired in the 1980s, generally from the top galleries of their time, they remain active collectors, seeking out provocative works by a new generation of artists. In addition to the following examples by Wesselmann, Richter, Rosenquist and Stella, Richard Artschwager's Interior with Sideboard, 1974, will be offered in the 16 May 2007 Evening Sale of Post-War and Contemporary Art, and in the London 21 June 2007 sale, where Christie's will present two sculptures by Jean Tinguely and Arman.
