Bottled 18th October 1946. Slightly damaged wax capsule. Stencilled label. Level into neck
Tasting note: Bottled in October 1946. Although the phylloxera was still ravaging vineyards, 1893 was the first major vintage since it took hold. "EBH" are the initials of Dona Eugenia Bianchi Henriques, grand daughter of Carolo de Bianchi, owner of a substantial estate at Camara (Cama) de Lobos. Most likely a rich Bual or Malmsey and will be excellent now. M.B.
