Fine and fruity cask sample and steady, invariably pleasant development, 'full, soft, velvety, stylish and rounded' in 1973....Then a well-nigh perfect bottle: harmonious, à point, dry finish at Hugh Johnson's Bordeaux Club dinner, December 2001.
