Tasting Note: Half a dozen notes, all good, its length not a feature of many '94s- at the Union des Grands Crus tasting (1996), its fruit and flesh (1997), a good combination of fruit and oak (1997) ; sweetness, rich fruit- a fairly high mark at the MW tasting (1998). Most recently, shown at two France in Your Glass tastings at Eugènie-les-Bains : opening up with an almost farmyard animal richness. Surprisingly sweet. A good '94. October 2000 **** M.B.
