Tasting Note: The second last DRC vineyard to be harvested: low yield: 18.2 hl/ha, 1071 dozen, two-thirds of the average. First tasted at the Domaine in October 2001: deep, intense, dark cherry; immediately fragrant, redcurrant aroma plus liquorice; very sweet finish. Most recently: a touch more iron to its fruit and spice. Lovely, rich flavour and long, dry finish. Exotic and ethereal. Superb. Probablyone of the best ever St-Vivants. Feb 2002 ***** M.B.
