Tasting Notes: Yield 31.4 hl/ha, production 1221 cases, slightly down on average. Fairly deep. I open glass, herbaceous though, after four hours, simmered down. More vivid, crips and varietal, when freshly poured; sweet, delicious, a relatively easy charmer but well endowed with tannin and acidity. Echezeaux can sometimes lag behind, but it is, of course, always a fraction of the price of its older siblings, two-thirds the price of Grands-Echezeaux, its production half that Romanée-Conti and roughly 12f the price.
