It was built in 1235 by the knight Gaspard de Sterimberg after gaining the permission of the 'White Queen of Castille' to establish his hermit's residence on this hill after being injured during the crusade of Albigeois in 1224. 4.9ha on calcareous clay soil - 65 Marsanne; 35 Roussanne
