Tasting Note: A perplexing wine, the extremely youthful, dark ruby/purple-colored 1974 Unico exhibits a shy, albeit promising nose of smoky, cedary, black-cherry fruit, tart, medium to full-bodied flavors, little tannin, and a more monolithic personality than most Vega Sicilia wines. Robert Parker
