Rectangular, set on four paw and acanthus feet, with a gadrooned border with shells at intervals, the frame set with eight cut-glass bottles of various sizes, the central standard with leaf-clad and shell handle, the base engraved with the monogram CR with Royal crown above, marked under base, frame
12 in. (30.5 cm.) long; 51 oz. (1598 gr.) weighable silver
The monogram is that of Queen Charlotte (1744-1818) wife of King George III.
