CERETTO
A third generation estate, Ceretto, began to take the shape it has today in the 1960s, when two brothers took the helm, Bruno, commercial director, and Marcello, technical director. They rapidly expanded the size of their vineyards to over 300 acres while establishing the important Bricco Rocche Barolo and Bricco Asili Barbaresco brands, with their own wineries. The Bricco Rocche wines are sourced from top vineyards in the villages of La Morra (Brunate), Serralunga (Prapo), Castiglione Falletto (Bricco Rocche), and Barolo (Cannubi) while Bricco Asili has its eponymous wine as well as Bernadot. While reflecting their very individual terroirs, Ceretto wines share a traditional upbringing as well as a harmonious elegance
Barolo, Bricco Roche Brunate--Vintage 1978
Piedmont, Ceretto
Level: bottom neck; lightly bin soiled label, lightly corroded capsule, signed label
