Mary Pickford
An autograph letter, signed, from Mary Pickford to Doctor Eric Loeke, 7th April, 1924, on The Ambassador, New York headed stationery, thanking him for a telegram regarding her film Dorothy Vernon[Of Haddon Hall]...It was so kind of you to send me the telegram about "Dorothy Vernon"...The knowledge that the picture has been well received is a great relief, as I can go away with a clear conscience. All of my pictures, including "Rosita" have been sold to Central Europe. To my utter amazement the three German representatives liked "Dorothy" best..., with corresponding envelope addressed to Doctor Eric Loeke, c/o Ernst Lubitsch, Lasky Studio, Hollywood, Calif. [Lasky Studio crossed out and replaced with Warner Bros. Studio in an unknown hand]
