A collection of 26 black and white snap-shots by Eve Arnold in a presentation red velvet album with metal mounts, signed and inscribed inside in blue ballpoint pen To Kay Gable, Eve Arnold, March 14, 1961, the photographs, taken during the filming of The Misfits, stamped on the reverse with photographer's ink-stamp, subjects include: close-ups of Gable relaxing between takes; Gable studying his script; Gable during a bar scene; Gable having his make-up applied; Gable and Arthur Miller; Gable practicing a stunt; Gable with wife, Kay; and various shots taken during shooting of the horse capture scenes in the hills, all -- 6¼x4¼in. (15.9x10.8cm.)
