Two costumes made for Betty Grable, comprising: a one-piece sleeveless leotard of pale pink gabardine, with heart-shaped cut-outs to the front and reverse, trimmed at the hips with ruffles of pink tulle and trimmed at the bust with two bow motifs in pink sequins, with label inside inscribed in black ink B. Grable -- made for Betty Grable as Myrtle McKinley Burt in the 1947 Twentieth Century Fox film Mother Wore Tights; accompanied by a Xerox of a magazine clipping showing Grable wearing this costume and a corresponding black and white still -- 10x8in. (25.4x20.3cm.); and a full-length sleeveless dress of pale yellow tulle, the skirt with three layers of tulle trimmed with crocheted pom-poms, the bodice similarly trimmed -- made for Betty Grable as Molly Larkin in the 1952 Twentieth Century Fox film The Farmer Takes A Wife; accompanied by five corresponding black and white stills, all -- 8x10in.
