The top with a pierced three-quarter gallery above a tambour-shutter, the lower section with two drawers inlaid sans traverse, the upper dwawer with a sliding leather-lined writing-surface and inkwell to the side, partially lacking fittings, the sides inlaid with conforming banding, on cabriole legs joined by an undertier and terminating in ormolu foliate sabots
