THE RARE PORTFOLIO WITH EACH PHOTOGRAVURE SIGNED BY THE PHOTOGRAPHER. Number 2 of 60 sets from an edition of 70 sets only. The images illustrate three poems chosen by Cartier-Bresson from Baudelaire's Les Fleurs du Mal. One of these, 'Les Promesses d'un Visage', was one of the six poems which led to Baudelaire's obscenity trial and were later banned.
