the a white-painted wooden Earth ball with equator and four meridians incised, mounted over a printed hour dial with index and within a tilting brass ring, also with a moon ball on a hinged wire arm, mounted via a turned ebonised wooden column to the main arm with brass support to the main column, a brass ring at the top with ten protruding arms each with a forked end to receive a length of twine to turn the Earth ball, a mounting pin on top and an index and mounting peg at the bottom the the column, lacking base
