late 18th Century/early 19th Century
of trunk style, with green velvet lining, fitted to house twelve bottles with ground stoppers and paper content labels (one stopper replacement, one chipped, one neck chipped), with retaining rod to lower drawer with brass ring-pull fitted to house five further similiar bottles (one missing), a tray holding handheld balance and weights with further compartments beneath, the case with key-hole and carrying handle
