the lacquered-brass scarificator with engraved scroll decoration to one side, in original leather-covered, domed case with chamois lining and gold thread border -- 7.5cm. (3in.) wide; together with a Regency silver single lancet etui, Sheffield 1827, with maker's mark FC tapered with foliate decoration and spring-loaded lid, with mother-of-pearl guard lancet -- 6cm.
