An Austrian circular lacquered-brass model of the bladder,
after Leopold Ritter von Dittel, circa 1890
with two viewing aperatures, one located on the top with black cap and glazed and one to the side for examination with an endoscope, the interior polychrome painted and labelled for instruction, the model sitting on concave ebony turned base with plush lining
the base, 12.5cm. (4 7/8in.) diameter
