APPARENTLY NO MAKER'S MARK, LONDON, 1805,
Oblong with wirework bars, ball feet, the ring handle atop an oval cartouche initialled "G", base inscribed " Presented to the Hon. Mary Hughes (Lady in Waiting) by H.M. Queen Victoria being the first toast rack used in the Royal Family", 5½ long (13.8 cm.), 6.25 oz.
