A VICTORIAN ELECTROPLATED KETTLE-ON-STAND,
MARK OF ELKINGTON & CO., 1859,
Baluster form with swing handle, buttercup finial, sides embossed with scrolls, flowers & panels of fish-scale decoration, the scalloped spout embellished with flowers, the spirit stand hung with openwork aprons of flowers, the scroll supports terminating in dolphin heads above shell feet, complete with spirit lamp, 15 in. high to top of handle (38 cm.)
