Compare a similar pair of cups, illustrated by J. Wirgin in Chinese Ceramics from the Axel and Nora Lundgren Bequest, Stockholm, 1978, pl. 8 and 77. Compare also two pairs of slightly smaller lemon-yellow cups, from the E. T. Hall Collection, sold in our London Rooms, 7 July 2004, lot 267, the other pair sold at Sotheby's Hong Kong, 2 May 2000, lot 540. A single cup of this smaller size from the Vera Goldschlager Collection was sold in these Rooms, 30 April 2001, lot 672.
