QING DYNASTY, 18TH CENTURY

Of square section supported on ruyi-form feet and with twin lingzhi branch loose-ring handles, each of the tapering sides delicately carved in low relief with flowering braches of peony, lotus, chrysanthemum and prunus below a lipped rim, with the slightly domed cover with four panels repeating the design on the sides, surmounted by a square shuangxi, double-happiness finial
