A WHITE JADE RUYI
QING DYNASTY, 18TH CENTURY
The upper surface of the terminal head carved in shallow relief with a stylised Shou character, evenly surrounded at the four cardinal points with a bat in flight, all framed within a raised single line border, similarly carved with a further six bats on the arched shaft handle, the end of the handle pierced for attachment, the stone of even white tone with areas of opaque inclusions
