With report no. 0703566 dated 21 March 2007 from the Gübelin Gemmological Laboratory stating that the ruby is of Burmese origin, with no indications of heating and with additional comments stating that rubies which have not been heated are scarce and this colour variety of ruby may also be called "pigeon's blood red" in the trade
With report no. GRS2005-060554 dated 1 June 2005 from the GemResearch SwissLab stating that the ruby is of Burmese origin (GRS type "pigeon's blood"), with no indication of thermal treatment
