Lacking a top, above a gothic panelled frieze on cluster column legs with sunken brass castors, legs repaired, the underside stencilled with the letter 'P' (three times), losses, later decorated

Lot Essay

The wash-stand table, with cluster-columned pillars, is designed in William Atkinson's robust baronial antique gothic fashion, and matches one displayed in Scone's Queen Victoria Suite (J. Jauncey, Scone Palace, 2003, p.38).
