May 1856'; a fragment of wood, labelled 'A piece of wood dug up near the Malakoff (Crimea)'; a fragment of marble, labelled 'A piece of marble from Mauplka (Crimea)'; two aboriginal grinding stones, labelled 'Warrnambool Public Museum, found .... Victoria, 1891'
Together with a letter describing the gifting of the stones by the Museum; a Victorian infant's silk glove with label 'Worn by Margaret MacGregor (afterwards Countess Mansfield) when a baby'; a Meerchaum pipe in the form of a bird's head, the case labelled 'P. Edwards & Co., London'; and a pen rest modelled with two stag horns
