the rosewood sarcophagus case with small bracket feet, the lid with inlaid ivory and ebony piano 'keys', the interior with looking-glass and tray for eleven implements, lifting to reveal a 2-air movement No. 19502, with plain brass bedplate, 14-part sectional comb in groups of five teeth, wound from underside, circa 1840 -11¼in. (28.5cm) wide, the cylinder 2½in. (6.35cm), (many teeth off, spring and great wheel defective, many implements missing)
