The circular pierced iron tsuba brass inlaid with flowers and foliage, the tukashi area and the rim outlined with a rope rim.

Accompanied by a certificate of registration as Tokubetsu Kicho Kodogu [Especially valuable sword fittings], no. 132, issued by the Nihon Bijutsu Token Hozon Kyokai [Society for the Preservation of the Japanese Art Sword], dated 6th May 1972
