Sugata [configuration]: Honzukuri, iori-mune, deep koshizorii, ko-kissaki
Kitae [forging pattern]: Prominent o-itame with bright ji-nie, patches of 'gama hada'
Hamon [tempering pattern]: Gunome with choji and sanbonsugi
Boshi [tip]: Midare-komi with o-maru and slight kaen Nakago [tang]: Ubu, one mekugi-ana, kurijiri tip
Habaki [collar]: Single, silver-clad copper
Nagasa [length of blade]: 66.2cm.
Koshirae [mounting]: In its katana koshirae, black lacquer saya, a plain iron band fuchi with silver inlay and mon, and an iron tachi-style kashira, shakudo menuki of feather brushes, gilt details, rounded square iron Akasaka tsuba pierced in yo sukashi with dewdrops on grass
