Finely carved of rectangular cross-section, imitating an archaic bronze ritual vessel, fangding, raised on four cabriole legs issuing from mythical dragon-heads, the sides carved in shallow relief with taotie masks divided by notched vertical flanges, either end of the shorter sides with an elaborate chilong-head handle carved in openwork, the cover with kui dragons in relief on the four sloping sides, divided by further flanges, below a coiled dragon finial, the stone of even white tone with areas of opaque speckles
