THIRD INTERMEDIATE PERIOD, DYNASTY XXI-XXII, 1070-712 B.C.
From an anthropoid sarcophagus, with a wide nose and thick smiling lips, the bulging eyes deeply recessed at their inner canthi, with broad cheek bones tapering to the chin, now square, with a mortise for insertion of a false beard, preserving portions of the separately-made voluminous wig, traces of pigment in the nostrils
