THIRD INTERMEDIATE PERIOD TO LATE PERIOD, DYNASTY XXI-XXX, 1070-343 B.C.
Solid cast, depicted mummiform with the arms folded across the chest, his fisted hands emerging from beneath his vestment, right over left, holding a crook and a flail, the broad-collar counter-weight (menat) incised on the back, wearing a plumed atef-crown fronted by a uraeus and supported by ram horns, with almond-shaped eyes recessed for now-missing inlays, the lids and cosmetic lines raised, the fleshy lips pressed together, the filtrum indicated, the plaited chin beard curved at its tip, on an integral trapezoidal plinth, a tenon below for insertion, preserving traces of gilding between the hands and on the crown
