With three-quarter plate gilt-finished lever movement, 49 jewels, one minute tourbillon carriage with two diamond endstones, mono-metallic compensation balance, screwed chatons, the silvered dial with applied Roman and lozenge-shaped numerals to off-centred hour display, small engine-turned subsidiary seconds between 7 and 8, large double windows for date, sector for power reserve, aperture for the tourbillon regulator under a polished steel bridge at 5, in circular case with date change button at 10, glazed display back secured by six screws, together with a platinum Lange deployant clasp, case, dial and movement signed

This watch is accompanied by an A. Lange & Söhne presentation box with outer packaging, Guarantee Certificate and manual.

The Lange 1 Tourbillon model was in production between 2000 and 2003 and made in a limited edition of 250 examples in pink gold and only 150 in platinum. It is the world's first wristwatch combining a tourbillon, a patented oversized date, twin barrels for the three days' power reserve and a progressive power reserve indicator.

The movement is composed of 378 parts, the tourbillon consists of 72 pieces, its miniature steel cage is suspended between two diamond endstones and contains the balance wheel, the balance spring and the escapement.
