This watch is accompanied by a Patek Philippe cardboard slip case, Certificate of Origin with brochures in leather wallet and adjustment tool.

Reference 3940 was introduced in 1985, the successor of references 3448 and 3450. This lot is particularly interesting due to its very unusual dial with the Roman numerals as opposed to the baton numerals found in the majority of reference 3940.
