US$3,000-5,000

This watch is accompanied by a Corum presentation box with outer packaging, Guarantee Certificate dated May 2002 and a gold money clipper similating a United States of American one dolar coin.

The gold coin was created by German artist Louise Christine Thiele in 1999 to commemorate the 250th birthday of Johann Wolfgang von Goethe, the German poet, novelist, playwright, courtier, and natural philosopher, one of the greatest figures in Western literature.

The Ginkgo leaves depicted on the front of the coin was originated from Goethe's poem Ginkgo Biloba devoted to his former lover Marianne von Willemer on 15 September 1815. In the original letter, two Ginkgo leaves of the exact form were pasted on it by Goethe himself.

Corum produced this watch in a very limited edition of just 50 examples in 1999 to join the celebration of this meaningful event. The current watch bears the number 9.
