The scrolled sides later painted on one side with a Dutch winter landscape, the other side with an Italian winter landscape in acanthus borders, the end painted with the Royal coat-of-arms of William Henry, 12th Prince of Orange and later King William III, and the front painted with the mounted figure of William III, the pointed prow with fruiting boss
