A Blue and white brushpot, Transitional, circa 1640
painted with scholars in discussion within a fenced garden, flanked by a crowd of men brandishing swords being offered food and refreshment beneath a large willow tree, and a figure wearing working robes carrying goods on a long carrying pole, his horse beside him, bordered by anhua decorated panels -- 8¼in. (21cm.) high.
