Three jade archer rings, 18th and 19th century
the first of yellow tone, finely incised with leafy floral sprays and an inscription reading Xi hua chun qi zao ('Wake up early for rare Spring blossom'); the second, of white tone with a few russet inclusions, carved in low relief with a scholar and attendant crossing a bridge towards a fisherman on a river bank in a mountainous river landscape with a boat and pagodas; the third, of a creamy-white tone with an area of russet inclusion carved with a deer beside a tree in a moonlit mountainous landscape -- maximum 1 3/8in. (3.5cm.) diam. (3)
