raised on a tall footrim with steeply flaring sides, painted to the exterior with gilt and coloured enamels depicting alternating dragons amongst scrolling clouds and pheonix, their wings outstretched, Qianlong underglaze blue mark to base -- 7 7/8in. (20cm.) diam.
