painted in coloured enamels with a farmer walking by the riverside before his two tethered oxen, his son riding one of the beasts, bordered by bands of gilt ruyi-head collars and scrolling lotus on a coral ground, seal mark to the base 'Made for the Hall of the Cultivation of Virtue' -- 17½in.
