A gilt bronze model of Amitayus, Qianlong (1736-1795)
modelled seated on a rectangular base in dhyanasana, his hands folded to his lap in dhyana mudra, wearing an ornate headdress, large floral earrings and a sash tied over his left shoulder, before a flaming mandarla, incised calligraphy to the base date the piece to the 60th Year of the Qianlong Emperor -- 8¼in. (21.2cm.) high.
