Second edition of Savonarola's popular treatise. The first part considers the properties of various foods and digestion; the second part is given over to the treatment of the plague, and the third part to fevers and dieting. The first edition was published at Bologna in 1487 by Dionysius Bertochus. Another incunable edition was published in 1498, and numerous 16th-century editions followed. Not in Wellcome.
