Etched architectural title surround with Medici arms above a view of Florence, woodcut portrait, Giunta device at end. (A little browning.) Contemporary vellum, manuscript title on spine. Provenance: erased inscription on title, occasional marginalia in a neat contemporary hand -- [purchased from E.P. Goldschmidt cat. 111, 1957, no. 314]. FIRST SEPARATE ISSUE. An offprint of pp. 717-96 of Le Vite, 1568.
