In original tissues. Levels: eight top-shoulder or better, three just below top-shoulder and one upper-shoulder
Tasting note: though noting its quality in the mid-1960s I did not wake up to its massiveness until the mid- to late 1970s, predicting a long life, "30 years". By the mid-1980s I described it as an archetypal Montrose, soft yet tannic, velvety yet dry, with a wonderful 1961 concentration. Sinewy. M.B.
