Lot Essay

With music by Georges Auric, choreography by Léonide Massine and décor and costumes designed by Benois, Les Enchantements de la fée Alcine was first performed by the Ida Rubenstein Company at the Théâtre National de l'Opéra, Paris, on 21 May 1929.
