Title printed in red and black, woodcut on last page of St Jerome and his lion (a few margins lightly waterstained). Contemporary north German calf with clasps, blindstamped border round sides composed of wyverns, lyres and stylised foliar decoration (rebacked, clasps renewed). FIRST EDITION. Adams H103.
