Original tan pictorial cloth (inner hinges weak, a little dampstained, lightly rubbed). Provenance: Ernest E. Noakes (magician's bookplate); Paul D. Allen (signature on front free endpaper). FIRST EDITION, PRESENTATION COPY, the front free endpaper inscribed, "To Ernest E. Noakes with compliments of the author Harry Houdini Feb 22 - 1908."
